I have been noticing a trend in  decor for awhile – Owls! They seem to be showing up everywhere: clocks, pillows, wall decals. Are we trying to subconsciously instill wisdom in our children.  It can’t be that we want night owls – I relish my sleep. Or is  it just  good design.  Whatever the reasoning, there are lots of great things to choose from.

Above are some of my favorites:

Owl Clock - by Mid century design icon George Nelson. This will ensure kids to tell time the old-fashioned way.

Sketchbook - These eco-friendly are sure to inspire little artists.

Decorative wall decal – These vinyl decals are easy to apply and I love the glow in the dark stars.

Owl pillow – Cute and cuddly and has a sweet pocket for little ones to hide their treasures!

Owl pillow – Artisan pillow  made with one of a kind Japanese fabrics

Print – Original design by Steve Haskamp.  This is wonderful affordable art.

Owl lamp - I love the wide-eyed owl. Great for an eco-friendly/earthy room.

Knit Pillow - This lovely hand-knit pillow is a cute and cuddly.

Storage Bin – This bin can make putting away toys fun.

Family of owls print-  A collage of vintage and printed papers is a special addition to any child’s room

  • Great ideas. I love the owls — especially the clock! I know it would look great in my son’s room.

  • Howdy there!

    I saw your site linked off of Baristakids . . . and as a local Baristaville-er-er-er . . . I figured that I would say “Hello there!”

As to owls . . . maybe if you get a tick – you might want to take a look at these nifty owl onesies that I made.

I’ve heard people say that they are “owlerrific !”

And that can’t be bad – right?!

    Tootles!

  • I have to express some appreciation to the writer just for rescuing me from this particular setting. Because of scouting throughout the world wide web and meeting proposals which were not productive, I assumed my entire life was well over. Existing without the solutions to the problems you have fixed as a result of your blog post is a serious case, as well as those which might have in a negative way damaged my career if I hadn’t discovered your blog. Your main natural talent and kindness in touching every item was precious. I am not sure what I would’ve done if I had not discovered such a step like this. I’m able to at this point look forward to my future. Thank you so much for the professional and effective guide. I will not think twice to endorse your web page to any individual who desires guide about this topic.
